WWW Wednesday is hosted by ‘Taking on a World of Words’ every Wednesday.
What are you currently reading?

Ruby Redfort: Look into My Eyes by Lauren Child, audiobook read by Rachel Stirling
I’m really enjoying this! Ruby’s great but it’s Hitch who steals the show for me!

Midnight in Everwood by M A Kuzniar
I’m really enjoying this too, it has all the rich descriptions and fierce feminism of Maria’s middle grade books, but more grown up.
I’m pleased that I read the original Nutcracker before I started it so I could see how it plays on it too. I think I’d still have enjoyed it otherwise but I’m definitely getting more from it this way.

Once We Were Witches by Sarah Driver
I have been wanting to and meaning to read this for the longest time! And im so pleased I finally am. It’s brilliant.
What have you just finished reading?
‘Just’ finished might be a stretch since it’s a couple of weeks since my last WWW post, but here’s what I’ve finished since then…

Ruby Redfort: Look into My Eyes by Lauren Child, audiobook read by Rachel Stirling
This well and truly got me hooked and I’m in it for the long haul with the series now!

Wishyouwas by Alexandra Page
Such a charming, cosy Christmas adventure. You can read my review here.
The Nutcracker by ETA Hoffman
I’m glad to have finally read this (I’m not sure how I’ve gone so long not knowing the story!) but even more glad to have read this version because the illustrations are stunning!
What will you read next?
Something from my December picks, probably Clarice Bean Think Like an Elf or The Book of Stolen Dreams.
What are you reading at the moment? Have you read any of these?
So pleased you’re still enjoying Ruby Redfort! I think Hitch was my fave as well. So excited to pick up Wishyouwas and Midnight in Everwood, and I can confirm Book of stolen Dreams is great. I just finished The Vanderbeekers and the Hidden Garden, now reading Beauty and the Bin and next up is Jaz Santos vs the World!
